Oh boy. Well, living in Canada, I am able to see a social worker for free, therapist and everything. So it was relatively easy at that. Hmm, have you looked into community resources for mental health? Maybe “low” income services which only charge a certain percentage? Or maybe you could start putting money away to go to a professional at least once to see what they say? Could you possibly offer a service of some sort for a little extra money (like sewing classes, knitting, house cleaning, dog walking…)
I really am unsure of what to do in this case because being diagnosed with BPD is a big deal. Maybe you can go to the library and search up books about borderline personality disorder. I know that there are a lot of self-help websites out there (search DBT skills in google).
Maybe some readers have advice, as I’m really stuck as to what to do but I would love to see you get better.
Best Regards,
Chelsea.
I’m unfortunately in the same situation as Chelsea, because I live in Canada. I’m sorry we can’t help you more. If you tell us where you live, we could ask if some of our followers live in the same area and know about resources or programs that could help you.
Love,
Julie
